Kevin is 18 years old and graduated from Signature School. He is currently a junior at Ball State University. Kevin was born in Cincinnati, Ohio but moved to Evansville, Indiana at the age of five. He was born with Aortic stenosis and Juvenile polyposis and had open-heart surgery and a colectomy at the age of twelve. Kevin believes his experiences in the hospital have influenced his career dreams of going to medical school and becoming a pediatric surgeon.
Kevin is majoring in biology and pre-med at Ball State University. He enjoys playing tennis, swimming, playing ping-pong, learning guitar, running, and spending time with friends and family. His father, Michael and his mother, Lisa along with his two sisters, Alisondra and Kirsten have been and continue to be very supportive of Kevin. On campus Kevin is actively involved in Campus Crusades for Christ and a Bible study. He also recently joined the Pre-Health Professions Club and is hoping to start a ping-pong club soon. Kevin is applying to be a Resident Assistant next year. This will provide him with an immense amount of leadership experience and give him an opportunity to meet a lot of great people. This summer Kevin traveled to Mexico where he volunteered to repair and build things at various orphanages in Mexico.
