Camp Bravehearts
The Sydney Mae Taylor Foundation, Inc. is pleased to support Camp Bravehearts again this year. Camp BraveHearts is a week-long summer camp for children ages 8-16 who suffer from heart defects or heart disease. The camp is staffed all week by a completely volunteer cardiac medical team. These “heart” kids can acquire a sense of control, responsibility, and independence away from home. Being average does not seem like much to strive for. Yet it can mean everything to children who yearn to do things in a “regular” kid way. Camp BraveHearts gives that chance.

Camp BraveHearts has moved to a new camp location in Kentucky called The Center for Courageous Kids.  This camp is designed especially for special needs children and covers a wide variety of chronic illnesses.  This represents a wonderful change for the special campers who attend Camp BraveHearts each summer!
