Beverly is 20 years old and graduated in 2008 year from Verona Area High School in Verona Wisconsin. Beverly entered the United States Military Academy at West Point New York in June of 2008. After completing Beast Barracks (basic training) she began her plebe year (freshman) at West Point. Bev was born with Partial Anomolus Venous Return with a Supraventricular Septal Defect which was repaired at Milwaukee Childrens Hospital in August of 2005. Bev has been a softball pitcher since she was 10 years old and led her high school team to the WIAA Division I State Tournament her senior year where they finished as the runner up. She is continuing her pitching career at West Point where she earned her first college win going the distance against Rider University on April 2nd, 2009. Bev’s first year at West Point was challenging both mentally and physically. She enjoyed her second summer at West Point where she continued her military training the first half of the summer and then participated in Emergency Medical Technician Training the second half. Her third summer was spent traveling to France with the Civil Engineering Department. She was also a squad leader for incoming freshman Basic Cadet Training. She trained a group of eleven 18 year olds on marksmenship, rappelling, Land Navigation, and much more.
