3/16 Update by Catherine Scavone

The past couple of weeks have been extremely busy. I have been on two interviews for Elementary School positions and am waiting to hear whether or not I will get a job offer. Also, this past week I  turned in my final lesson plan to my advisor. She will come in to observe me later in the week. Currently, I have 29 days left of student teaching, not that I am counting. My students are busy preparing for the big standarized test in April. My sorority will be hosting our annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament to support our philanthropy, Service for Sight. Also, I volunteered at the Big Hearts Pageant for Special People and helped with their silent auction. It was so much fun seeing all of the children dressed up! In the upcoming weeks I will hopefully be going on some more interviews and finishing up student teaching assignments. I am looking forward to Spring Break in April.
